The invention relates to a device for producing tablets comprising a perforated outer tube drum which is rotatably arranged above a cooling strip and rotates itself around a stationary inner body in which a flowable product to be pastillated passes onto an upper side of the cooling strip using a perforated outer tube drum in a droplet manner and after the solidification of the product drops, the resulting pastilles are taken from the cooling strip. The device comprises a means for applying a separating agent onto the cooling strip, the means comprises at least one spraying nozzle for two substances for spraying the separating agent onto the upper side of the cooling strip. The spraying nozzle thinely sprayes a liquid separating agent using compressed air, wherein the spraying of the separating agent onto the cooling strip creates a hydrophobic surface and a period of time between the spraying the separating agent onto a definite area of the cooling strip and applying product droplets onto said area is long enough for droplets of the sprayed separating agent to fuse in a uniform layer, but short enough for the separating agent despite the small thickness of its layer not to completely volitize or evaporate in said cooling strip area. The invention further relates to a method for conditioning the conveyor belt in such device. |
