The invention relates to a multi-layer cellular structure board, wherein a layer has cellular structure with open pores, and is followed by one or more layers with cellular structure with closed pores, depending on the board use and loading. According to the invention, the board consists of a layer with closed pores and comprising basalt powder mixed with a foaming agent, an organic or inorganic compound, as powder, placed into a mould and of a layer with open pores consisting of basalt powder mixed with a solvent, forming a slip, which is absorbed by a spongious polymeric mass, which also comprises a pore-forming agent, these layers being heated and cooled in a controlled manner, the porosity of the layer with open pores being of up to 80%, with a controlled arrangement. As claimed by the invention, the process consists in that the basalt, as powder, with the granulation smaller than 55 μm, is mixed with a foaming agent, an organic or inorganic compound, as powder, with a granulation of 25...55 μm, and it is placed in a mould, forming a layer with closed pores, and another quantity of basalt powder mixed with a solvent in a ratio of 15...30%, as slip, is absorbed in a spongious polymeric mass, placed into the mould, over the first layer and the pore-forming agent, and then heated in a slow mode, up to 450°C, at this temperature the mixture being kept for 15...30 min, then being heated at 900...1050°C, for foaming and sintering the basalt in order to block the gas in the basalt mass, there occurring the solidification, afterwards the material being cooled up to 550°C, at a rate of 50...100°C/min. From 550°C up to the environment temperature, the cooling is carried out slowly, in an annealling mode. |
