1. A golf club face plate for a golf club head, the golf club face plate comprising:
a body comprising:
a mold compound;a label coupled to the mold compound;a strike side comprising the label; anda body rear side opposite the strike side and comprising the mold compound; wherein the mold compound comprises a polyester-based, aromatic, polyurethane, thermoplastic with a Shore D hardness value of approximately 65 to approximately 80; and the label comprises:
a label strikeface portion configured to define a frontmost strike surface of the golf club face plate;a label rear portion opposite the label strikeface portion; andprinted indicia at the label rear portion of the label, separated from and visible through the strike side of the body.
