The invention relates to construction and can be used in construction of new motor roads and repair thereof. Border stones are used for providing reliability and safety of separating roadway from walkway and road shoulders. The invention is aimed at preventing subsidence of border stones after some time of operation. The assigned task is solved by providing a "lock" in a border stone - a slot of any configuration, for example, of rectangular shape in the front part of a stone, which is filled with road cover (concrete, asphalt). For retaining the border stone in vertical position a metal mesh is provided therein below the roadway. A border stone is a simple structure and its fabrication is cheap and its service time increases considerably due to preventing subsidence of border stones. |
