<p>The present invention relates to a wedge (10) for connecting a scaffolding pipe and a manufacturing method thereof which reduces production costs and improves productivity by manufacturing the wedge (10) for fixing a fixing plate (3) and a connector (4) when a vertical pipe (1) and a horizontal pipe (2) are connected using the fixing plat (3) and the connector (4) through press-processing. The manufacturing method of the wedge (10) according to the present invention, a hanging protrusion (20) is formed in the bottom of the wedge (10) and a penetration preventing protrusion (30) is formed in the top of the wedge (10) by blanking a steel plate (A) in a designated shape and pressing the steel plate using a press. A surface touching groove (40) is formed on a thickness portion opposite to the hanging protrusion (20) and the penetration preventing protrusion (30) in a vertical direction. Lower and upper forming protrusions (21, 31) protruding to one side when blanking are formed in the wedge. When a punch (9) of the press presses the forming protrusions (21, 31) after the lower and upper forming protrusions (21,31) are placed in a mounting part (81) of a die, the hanging protrusion (20) and the penetration preventing protrusion (30) protrude from both surfaces of the wedge (10) through the upper and lower groove forming parts (82, 83) of the mounting part (81) of the die (8), and the surface touching groove (40) in the opposite side is formed at the same time, thereby improving the durability of the wedge (10), reducing manufacturing time, and remarkably reducing manufacturing costs.</p> |
