<p>The present invention provides an apparatus and a method to judge drowsy driving using a driving pattern of a vehicle. The present invention can judge the drowsy driving level stage by stage in consideration to steering wheels, pedal effect, vehicle offset, and so on; and carry out a drowsy driving warning scenario corresponding to a selected stage to effectively provide a driver, who drives while drowsy, with drowsy driving warning at an appropriate moment. Moreover, the present invention can integrate a drowsy driving judgment system and an LKAS based on a driving pattern of the vehicle to prevent traffic accidents by preventing the vehicle from moving away from the lane by drowsy driving, and let steering control of the LKAS intervene at the time predicted to collide with an external object to minimize a collision accident with another vehicle which travels from the side or with a dangerous object.</p> |
