<p>The present invention relates to a crush barrier for a median strip, wherein the problems of the existing guard cables or guard rails are resolved such that the impulsive force at the time of vehicle crush can be effectively absorbed and the support is prevented from being fallen down, pulled out or collapsing, thereby preventing big accidents. The crush barrier for a median strip comprises: a plurality of supports (100) buried at uniform intervals in the center of the road and divided upwards from the lower ends thereof in the right and left directions so as to be branched in the shape of an Y; ropes (200) continuously connected between the supports (100) so as to intersect each other in the vertical and traversal directions; protection tubes (300) encompassing each of the ropes (200) so as to protect the same; and rail plates (400) attached to the front portions of the supports (100). Therefore, even though the crush barrier for a median strip is slightly deformed in the structure at the time of vehicle crush, the crush barrier can effectively absorb the strong impact energy of the vehicles. In addition, the neighboring supports connected in the shape of a mesh by the ropes exhibit tension together such that a vehicle bumping the median strip can be returned to the original driving lane thereof, thereby preventing subsequent big accidents.</p> |
