Maintaining communication of a wireless device and using a plurality of wireless communication technologies. A first paging message schedule may be determined for maintaining communication between the wireless device and a first base station associated with a first wireless communication technology. Similarly, a second paging message schedule may be determined for maintaining communication between the wireless device and a second base station associated with a second wireless technology. Additionally, a scheduling conflict may be determined between the first paging message schedule and the second paging message schedule. Accordingly, communication with the first base station may be switched to a third base station using the first wireless technology in response to determining that there is a scheduling conflict.

1. A method for maintaining communication of a user equipment (UE) device using a plurality of wireless communication technologies, comprising:
determining a first paging message schedule for the UE device and a first base station associated with a first wireless communication technology; determining a second paging message schedule for the UE device and a second base station associated with a second wireless technology; determining that there is a scheduling conflict between the first paging message schedule and the second paging message schedule; and switch from communicating with the first base station associated with the first wireless technology to communicating with a third base station associated with the first wireless technology in response to determining that there is a scheduling conflict.
