A method for continuous vermiculture is provided. The method includes providing a continuous vermiculture culture system. The continuous vermiculture culture system includes at least one culture member that is fluidly connected to an irrigation system. After preparing a feeding solution, a volume of the feeding solution is then infused into the at least one culture member via the irrigation system. The steps of providing a feeding solution and infusing a volume of the feeding solution into the at least one culture member via the irrigation system are optionally repeated to promote formation of culture-grade soil and plant growth within the at least one culture member. |

1. A method for continuous vermiculture comprising:
(a) providing a continuous vermiculture culture system, the continuous vermiculture culture system comprising at least one culture member, comprising at least one earthworm, that is fluidly connected to an irrigation system; (b) preparing a feeding solution, wherein the feeding solution comprises organic food waste; (c) infusing a volume of the feeding solution into the at least one culture member via the irrigation system; and (d) optionally repeating steps (b) and (c) to promote formation of culture-grade soil and plant growth within the at least one culture member; wherein said step of preparing a feeding solution further comprises the step of placing an amount of organic food waste into a device for decomposing the organic food waste into a liquid effluent. |
