<p>In a secondary battery, an electrode assembly composed of an anode, a cathode, and a separation film interposed between the anode and the cathode are sealed in a quadrilateral battery case. The battery case includes: a rectangular case body which is made of metal materials and has a top side which is opened; and a case cap which is combined with the top side of the case body which is opened and includes an electrode terminal. An electrolyte injection hole is formed in the case cap. The electrolyte injection hole is sealed by a sealing member which is melted at a temperature which is lower than an ignition temperature of the secondary battery.</p> |
