The present invention relates to a polypropylene resin composition for a loose tube having excellent rigidity and flexibility, which contains 1-20 wt% of inorganic filler having an aspect ratio of 50 or greater and more preferably contains 1-20 wt% of magnesium hydroxide, 0.1-10 wt% of modified propylene, 1-10 wt% of thermoplastic elastic body and remaining amount of polypropylene, has hardness of the level of protecting an optical cable of a loose tube type manufactured by using the same from an external shock, and has excellent flexibility to make installation and maintenance work easy, to a method for manufacturing the same, a loose tube manufactured with the same, and an optical cable comprising the same.
