The present invention relates to a natural flowing type water diverting apparatus and a water diverting method thereof. Even if the provided natural flowing type water diverting method can be performed without power by using the different water level of sewage water without a large water pump, the present invention is able to divert water without a leakage even when the inner wall of a manhole is seriously damaged. The water diverting apparatus includes: a first packing module which induces sewage water to flow through a hose for water diversion while the sewage water does not rise along the inner wall of a first manhole by connecting an end part of the hose for water diversion with the outlet of a sewage pipe connected to an upstream side in the first manhole so that the sewage water flows; and a second packing module which prevents sewage water from rising along the inner wall of a third manhole by installing the third manhole of third manholes positioned in the upstream side of the first manhole in one place in an order of the closest position from the first manhole and connecting the outlet of the sewage pipe connected to the upstream and the inlet of the sewage pipe connected to the downstream so that sewage water flows between the outlet and the inlet about the corresponding third manhole.
