The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an immune-boosting composition which comprises the steps of preparing coffee waste; extracting oil from the coffee waste; and inoculating oil extracted waste with bacteria and culturing, wherein the coffee waste is residue remaining after extracting coffee liquid from coffee beans. The immune-boosting composition of the present invention has excellent activity of producing cytokine like TNF-α, IL-12, and IL-6 and has immune-boosting function.
