The present invention relates to a method for inducing ovulation and spawning of freshwater eels, capable of promoting ovulation without applying administration through intraperitoneal injection by adding a feminization inducing material (for example, 17beta-estradiol) for inducing feminization in a culture water bath for breeding mother fish as a target for inducing ovulation over a predetermined period of time and mixing flathead mullet pituitary extracts (FPE), which is a catadromous fish, as an artificial ovulation accelerating material in the culture water bath when the ovulation induction period comes. Preferably, according to the present invention, the condition of freshwater, brackish water and seawater of a culture water of the culture water bath is selectively set, a feminization inducing material is added in order to induce complete feminization of the mother fishes of eels in the freshwater condition of the culture water, and the ovulation inducing material is added into the culture water by setting the culture water in a seawater condition weafter pretreatment for feminization so as to induce the ovulation and spawning of the mother fishes. |
