The present invention relates to a jaywalking detection system. The jaywalking detection system includes a walk sensing unit including: a sensor install along a road and to sense a subject illegally crossing a road to output a crossing signal, a first wireless communication unit to transmit the crossing signal output from the sensor and location information of the sensor, a walk alarm unit installed close to the sensor to output an alarm signal to the subject through light or a sound when the crossing signal is output from the sensor; and a run sensing unit including a second wireless communication unit installed in a vehicle running the road to receive the crossing signal and the location information from the wireless communication unit, a GPS terminal to acquire location information of the vehicle, to display a run path of the vehicle, and to display a location of a corresponding sensor transmitting the crossing signal on the run path based on the location information received from the second wireless communication unit, and a run alarm unit to output an alarm signal to a driver when the location of the corresponding sensor displayed on the GPS terminal is located at a front direction on the run path of the vehicle. |
