PROCEDE DE CALIBRATION D'UNE CAMERA MISE EN PLACE DANS UN VEHICULE AUTOMOBILE

The method involves storing intrinsic parameters of a standard camera for a standard vehicle, and determining positioning defects between the vehicle and a standard target in a training phase. A specific target (12') for the vehicle and the standard camera is provided with reference points (16) homogenously distributed on a surface of the target. Extrinsic parameters of the camera installed in a car, is corrected in a calibration phase while placing the car relative to the specific target so that the camera mounted in the vehicle includes a non-distorted image of a pattern deformed target. An independent claim is also included for a specific target.
