#CMT# #/CMT# The method comprises performing anaerobic digestion in an anaerobic digestion compartment (3), performing aerobic purification in an aerobic purification compartment (4) by distributing air, and performing decantation in a decantation compartment (5) so that materials undergone the aerobic purification pass through a sludge bed obtained from the decantation stage in a up-down direction. The anaerobic digestion step is analogous in effect to that achieved by a septic tank. The step of decantation/biological response limits the expansion in height of the sludge bed. The method further comprises taking the material to the top of the sludge bed and recycling it for a new step of anaerobic digestion so as to limit the expansion in height of the sludge bed. The method is applied for a population of 1-20.
