Disclosed are a method of diagnosing an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system including a first measurement step of measuring pressure inside an air absorption manifold; a second measurement step of measuring temperature and pressure between an EGR cooler and an EGR valve; a determination step of calculating and determining an opening degree area of the EGR valve to satisfy a target EGR flow amount using a the target EGR flow amount, the pressure inside the air absorption manifold, and a function of the temperature and pressure between the EGR cooler and the EGR valve; and a diagnosis step diagnosing abnormality of the EGR cooler by comparing the temperature measured between the EGR cooler and the EGR valve with reference temperature when discharging EGR gas in the determined opening degree area of the EGR valve, and a method of controlling fuel injection using the same. |
