PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 4-cycle engine which is easy in the adjustment of a balance weight.SOLUTION: A 4-cycle engine comprises: a cylinder block 21 having two cylinders 211; pistons 23 arranged in the cylinders 211, respectively, and reciprocating in the cylinders 211; connecting rods 25 arranged in the pistons 23, respectively, and connected to the pistons 23 at their one-ends; crank shafts 22 connected with other ends of the connecting rods 25, and converting the descending motion of the pistons 23 into rotational motion together with the connecting rods 25; and a balancer 3 arranged outside the cylinder block 21. The balancer 3 comprises an actuator 31 which rotates a rotating shaft 311 arranged in parallel with an axial line O1 passing through the rotation center of the crank shaft 22, and a balance weight 32 which is arranged in a center position of the two cylinders 611 on the rotating shaft 311. |
