PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for changing a proportional gain (tuning ratio) of a BISRA-AGC properly in the thickness control combining the BISRA-AGC and an absolute value AGC, and to provide a thickness control method employing the same.SOLUTION: In the thickness control method for rolling machines according to the invention, when controlling a roll gap amount of the rolling machine by combining the BISRA-AGC and the absolute value AGC control for performing proportional control and/or integral control in the rolling machine having a pair of work rolls for rolling the rolled stock, if the tuning ratio of the BISRA-AGC is changed, the load is locked on again, and the tuning ratio is changed at the timing. |
