PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of reducing a peak load on a secondary collision.SOLUTION: A resin pin 61 is inserted into a first hole 66 of a first plate 30 of a fixed bracket 23 and a second hole 67 of a second plate 32 of a tilt bracket 24 (a movable bracket). In the first hole 66 is provided a first space S1 in a moving direction X1 of a column relative to the resin pin 61. On a secondary collision, after the second plate 32 and the resin pin 61 starts to move, the resin pin 61 is sheared with just a time lag required for the second plate 32 and the resin pin 61 to move just by a stroke corresponding to a first space S1. After a movement starting load of the tilt bracket 24 occurs, a shearing load of the resin pin 61 occurs with a prescribed time lag. |
