PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable proper calculation of the toner adhesion amount without increasing costs of a machine even when an attachment position of an optical sensor is deviated. ! SOLUTION: An image density control device includes an optical sensor 10 including an LED 10a that projects light to a toner image, and light receiving elements 10b and 10c that receive reflection light from the toner image, and detects the density of the toner image from the output of the light receiving elements and controls imaging conditions on the basis of the density.
