PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double structure rope for ship capable of relaxing shock applied to a ship using proper buffer action of a rope even a small ship is oscillated due to wind or wave. ! SOLUTION: A double structure rope for ship 1 whose one end is coupled and fixed to a small ship and whose other end is fixed to a mooring body comprises: an outer cover rope 10 having a penetration hole 10e in a long direction and being formed of synthetic fiber forming a braid type outer cover; and a core rope 20 having flexibility larger than that of the outer cover rope 10 inserted into the whole body of the penetration hole 10e, and being formed of synthetic rubber having low breaking intensity.
