PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact hook of a safety belt for high place work which has a simple structure and can be engaged to a relatively large fixing structure. ! SOLUTION: A stopper 2 having first and second arm parts 3 and 4 is fitted rotatably to an intermediate part 1b of a hook body 1 by a first pin 5, and assumes a closed position and an open position. The stopper is energized elastically toward the closed position at all times. An operation lever 7 is fitted rotatably to a base part 1a of the hook body by a second pin 8. The second arm part and the operation lever are overlapped and connected by a rivet 10 that penetrates a slit 9. The operation lever can be rotated between a first position in which the stopper is locked in the closed position, and a second position in which the stopper is caused to assume the open position.
