PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal air battery having high discharge capacity.SOLUTION: A metal air battery includes: an air electrode; a negative electrode; and an electrolyte layer disposed between the air electrode and the negative electrode. The electrolyte layer includes: a separator having a porous structure; and an electrolyte which infiltrates in the separator. In the separator, a contact angle formed with the electrolyte on a negative electrode side surface is smaller than a contact angle formed with the electrolyte on an air electrode side surface. The discharge capacity of the metal air battery is increased by providing the metal air battery. |
