<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of suppressing occurrence of an overload state of a power system when a power failure of the power system is restored, and to provide a control method.SOLUTION: A control device (a smart meter 310) is arranged in a user site having a control system linked with a power system and is parallel off and controls power consumed in the user site. The control device comprises: an acquisition section 162 which is connected to a power management device for controlling power supplied to a user group including the user sites from the power system and acquires, from the power management device, load information determined in accordance with a power amount which can be supplied from the power system; and a control section 164 for controlling power consumption in the user site on the basis of the load information acquired by the acquisition section when re-linking after parallel-off from the power system.</p> |
