摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve solar cell characteristics in a solid dye-sensitized solar cell.SOLUTION: A dye-sensitized solar cell 40 comprises: a photoelectrode 20 including a transparent conductive substrate 14, a titanium oxide dense layer 50 formed on the transparent conductive substrate 14, a porous semiconductor layer 24 which is formed on the titanium oxide dense layer 50 and transports an electron, a titanium oxide film 51 formed on the porous semiconductor layer 24, and a pigment layer 52 formed on the titanium oxide film 51; a solid hole transport layer 26 provided adjacent to the photoelectrode 20; and a counter electrode 30. In the dye-sensitized solar cell 40, a root-mean-square roughness (RMS) of a surface of the dense layer 50 is a range of 3.4 nm or more and 10 nm or less. The thickness of the dense layer 50 is preferably in a range of 1 nm or more and 50 nm or less, and more preferably in a range of 5 nm or more and 32 nm or less.
