PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair having a lumber support and capable of suitably supporting the upper body in accordance with the body type and posture of a seated person.SOLUTION: A chair includes a covering fabric stretched on right and left back frames 45 and 46 positioned on both right and left sides in a back body and forming a backrest surface, and a lumber support 5 attached to the back surface side of the covering fabric. The lumber support 5 includes: a linear body 51 having flexibility and a string-like shape, hooking pins 55 attached to the right and left back frames 45 and 46, and to be a plurality of inserting parts to insert the linear body 51 in a relatively movable manner so that the linear body 51 forms a plurality of aerial lines 51a stretched on a backrest surface and capable of being interlocked; and a tensile force adjusting part for adjusting a tensile force of the linear body 51 to a required tensile force and retaining it. |
