PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound calibrator which performs accurate calibration by generating sound which has a fixed sound pressure and has a signal waveform less distorted, without being affected by variation in atmospheric pressure.SOLUTION: A sound calibrator 10 includes: a coupler 21 to which a microphone 31 is to be inserted; a speaker 11 which outputs sound into the coupler 21; a gauge pressure sensor 12 which measures a sound pressure in accordance with a difference between an air pressure in the coupler 21 to which the sound is outputted by the speaker 11, and an atmospheric pressure; analysis means 17 which analyzes distortion of a signal waveform on the basis of the sound pressure measured by the gauge pressure sensor 12; distortion correction means 18 which corrects the distortion of the signal waveform of the sound outputted by the speaker 11 on the basis of analysis in the analysis means 17; and control means 13 which performs correction using the distortion correction means 18 to control an output to the speaker 11 so that the sound pressure measured by the gauge pressure sensor 12 becomes a fixed sound pressure and the distortion of the signal waveform is reduced. |
