<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic saturation sensor capable of detecting a position of a magnet with one coil.SOLUTION: A node at a left end of both ends of a coil 22 is defined as a first node, a node at a right end is defined as a second node, and a node on the centre of the coil 22 is defined as a third node. A CPU 40 detects an absolute value indicative of an amount of travelling of a magnet 10 toward a left end or a right end with respect to the centre of the coil 22 while monitoring inductance between the first node and the second node, and further determines a polarity indicative of whether the magnet 10 is located at the left end or the right end with respect to the centre of the coil 22 while monitoring inductance between the first node or the second node and the third node. The CPU 40 then detects a position of the magnet 10 by both the detection of the absolute value and the determination of the polarity.</p> |
