PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new positioning device for an exhaust gas aftertreatment device that enables the exhaust gas aftertreatment device to be easily and accurately assembled.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a device for determining a fitting position for a screw seat 70 for use in assembling an exhaust gas aftertreatment device 60 at a prescribed position against an engine 50 assembled to brackets 46a to 46d for an engine mount of a frame 40. This device has a screw seat bracket 80 for use in fixing the screw seat 70 against the frame 40 and a positioning tool 100 for determining a fixing position of a screw seat bracket 80 and a fixing position of the screw seat 70 fixed to the screw seat bracket in reference to an engine fixing hole 47b of the bracket 46b for an engine mount. Application of such a positioning device enables the screw seat 70 for use in assembling the exhaust aftertreatment device 60 to be easily and accurately fixed to the frame 40 through the screw seat bracket 80.
