A method for treating a vitamin D receptor-mediated condition in a subject, said method comprising administering to said subject a compound of formula (I): wherein each of R1A, R2A, R3A, R4A, R5A, R6A, R7A, R8A, R9A, and R10A is, independently, selected from H, halide, nitro, CF3, OH, OR11A, C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 heteroalkyl, C2-4 alkenyl, and C2-4 alkynyl; X1 is NHR12A, OR12A, or SR12A; R11A is selected from C1-4 alkyl, C2-4 alkenyl, and C2-4 alkynyl; and R12A is selected from C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 heteroalkyl, C2-6 alkenyl, C2-6 alkynyl, C6-12 alkaryl, and C6-12 heteroalkaryl, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, in an amount sufficient to treat said condition. |
