PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily place a work-piece in a shield vessel regardless of the weight and shape of the work-piece.SOLUTION: In a gas shield welding device 10, an inactive gas is supplied to a welding part of a work-piece 14 and welding is performed. The gas shield welding device 10 includes: a pedestal 16 on which the work-piece 14 is placed; and a shield vessel 12 in which multiple split members, each of which has a mating surface in a vertical direction, are assembled so as to sandwich the pedestal 16 and thereby shield the work-piece 14 placed on the pedestal 16 from air by using the inactive gas. |
