PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silane compounds, silsesquioxane compounds derived from the silane compounds and capable of providing materials having high transparency, high surface hardness/excoriation resistance and excellent mechanical strength, and methods of producing the same, and to provide curable compositions, cured products, transparent films and laminates.SOLUTION: There are provided silane compounds represented by the general formula (1), and silsesquioxane compounds obtained by hydrolysis/condensation of the silane compounds. In the formula, Ris a C1-4 alkyl group or acyl group, and Ris a hydrogen atom or a methyl group. |
