PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of securing a wide area connecting to a lead plate for current extraction.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: an outer can 11, having an aperture 11a and an electrode body 14, housing the electrode body 14; a lid plate 12 fitted to the aperture 11a; and a connection plate 20, disposed at an upper side of the lid plate 12, welded to the lid plate 12 and the outer can 11 at both sides of the electrode body 14 in a thickness direction. |
