PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system comprising a configuration that enables a master device to grab the occurrence of an abnormality at the time of initial setting in which the master device sets a unique address to each slave device.SOLUTION: Each of slave devices 20-22 includes a second control unit 25 that sets a unique address corresponding to the magnitude of an electric current detected by electric current detection unit 24 on the basis of an electric current map. In addition, a master device 10 includes: a first control unit 11 for controlling the respective slave devices 20-22; a unique address setting unit 12 for streaming electric current to set a unique address to the respective slave devices 20-22 to a communication line 30 at the time of initial setting; and an abnormality determination unit 13 that determines that an abnormality has occurred in the electric current flowing through the communication line 30 on the basis of the unique address set to each of the slave devices 20-22 at the time of initial setting, and notifies the first control unit 11 of the abnormality. |
