PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a map update device for determining a block to be updated without retaining all sets of versions in all sets of adjacent blocks up to the present.SOLUTION: When an update range in which a map is updated is designated, an update block extraction unit extracts, with respect to the update range, a block belonging to an update group having a portion common to the update range and belonging to an old version update group referable from the update group having the portion common to the update range as a block to be updated, and determines, with respect to the block to be updated, a latest version among the update group or the old update group to which the block to be updated belongs as an update version of the block to be updated. |
