PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valuable medium processor and a valuable medium processing method for enabling even an operator having management authority other than a security company to take out a valuable medium such as paper money, coins and gift certificates stored in a storage part from the machine body of the valuable medium processor, and capable of improving convenience for the operator.SOLUTION: A valuable medium processor 10 includes: a regulation part for selectively regulating access to each storage part for each storage part; a storage part for storing a relation between each storage part and management authority for each storage part; and an authentication part for authenticating the management authority of an operator. The control part of the valuable medium processor 10 controls the regulation part to allow access only to the storage part corresponding to the management authority authenticated by the authentication part on the basis of the relation between each storage part and the management authority stored in the storage part. |
