<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine which improves the cooling performance of a heat pipe which cools the rotary electric machine and inhibits temperature rise of a rotor of the rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 of the invention includes: a stator 2 including a stator coil 10; a rotor 3 which is disposed at the inner diameter side of the stator 2 through a clearance; a rotation shaft 4 disposed at the rotor inner diameter side; multiple bearings 8a, 8b which support the rotation shaft; and a heat pipe 5. An evaporation part of the heat pipe 5 is disposed in heat pipe installation holes 12 in the rotor 3 in a housing of the rotary electric machine 1. A condensation part of the heat pipe 5 is disposed at the exterior of the housing of the rotary electric machine 1 via through holes 9, which are formed in a shaft support component 6 disposed between the rotation shaft 4 and the one bearing 8a, and a sealing component 7 which seals the through holes 9.</p> |
