PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress scattering of toner in an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes an intermediate transfer belt 2 that is arranged above a photoreceptor drum 1a and a developing roller 8 and is brought into contact with the photoreceptor drum 1a to be driven to rotate in accordance with the direction of rotation of the photoreceptor drum 1a, and eddy current forming means 11 that is arranged extending parallel to the intermediate transfer belt 2 and composed of a flat plate fixed to a case 7 to form an eddy current in the space between the opening of the case 7 and the photoreceptor drum 1a. |
