METHOD OF SPATIAL SYNCHRONIZATION OF MULTIPLE PROCESSES IN IMAGE INSPECTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving web automatic inspection technique intended for spatial registration and combination of abnormality data collected through web production.SOLUTION: According to the present application, a conversion control system including: a database storing data defining a set of rules; and an interface receiving local abnormality information from a plurality of various analysis machines associated with a plurality of production process lines for performing a plurality of operations on a web of a material, each of the production process lines including positional data on a series of regions on the web having an abnormality. The system also includes a computer registering the positional data on the local abnormality information related to the plurality of production process lines and generating collective abnormality information. The system further includes a conversion control engine for applying the rules to the collective abnormality information so as to determine which abnormality shows an actual defect on the web for a plurality of types of products.
