PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input processing method capable of improving the presentation quality.SOLUTION: The input processor which communicates with an information processor includes: an input detection section that detects a proximity and a contact made by an object as an input; an event type determination section that determines the type of an input event based on the coordinates of the detected input; a mode information acquisition section that acquires a piece of information on a processing mode with respect to an application which is processed by the information processor; and a transmission section that transmits data which includes information on the determined type of the event and the acquired information on the processing mode to the information processor.
