<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with a touch sensor suitable for mobile equipment.SOLUTION: The display device with a touch sensor includes a plurality of display pixel electrodes, a common electrode provided facing the display pixel electrodes, a display control circuit for applying voltage for display between the display pixel electrodes and the common electrode and performing image display control so as to exhibit a display function of a display function layer on the basis of an image signal, a touch detection electrode provided oppositely from the common electrode or side by side to form electrostatic capacity with the common electrode therebetween, and a touch detection circuit for using voltage to be applied to the common electrode as a drive signal for a touch sensor, and detecting a contact position of an object on the basis of a detection signal obtained from the touch detection electrode. The touch detection electrode is a plurality of individual electrodes provided in the shape of a matrix.</p> |
