PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide processes for the preparation of tubulysins that are a group of inhibitors of tubulin polymerization.SOLUTION: This invention provides processes for preparing mixtures of tubulysins, preparing a single tubulysin from mixtures of tubulysins, and converting one tubulysin into a different tubulysin, and provides processes for using tubulysins to treat diseases and disease states that include pathogenic cell populations. |
