PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reality of a three-dimensional map with a relatively light load.SOLUTION: In a navigation system that displays a three-dimensional map, a three-dimensional model is projected in perspective in order to display a three-dimensional image. For display in night view mode, an entire image is displayed in dark colors, and white points representing light sources are displayed on buildings and roads. In the case of a building, light sources of a number associated with the height of the building are displayed in line in a height direction. For a road, light sources of a number associated with road type are disposed along the road in such a manner that light sources are disposed in two lines for an expressway and in one line for a narrow street. Accordingly, the reality of a three-dimensional map can be improved without use of detailed three-dimensional models of building windows, roadside trees, and the like. |
