CAMERA SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTABLE VEHICLE FITTING SYSTEM

An optimal configuration is determined based on operational characteristics of an operator when operating an adjustable stationary vehicle. A camera system is used to collect anthropomorphic data about the operator to establish an initial positioning of the components of the adjustable stationary vehicle. The camera system can also be used to collect real-time information about the operator's body positioning so as to cause adjustment of the positioning of the components of the adjustable stationary vehicle while being operated.

1. A bicycle fit system for determining a bicycle configuration for a rider comprising:
an adjustable stationary bicycle; the adjustable stationary bicycle having a seat and handlebars that are positioned at the direction of a control system; and a camera system that determines anthropomorphic information about the rider and provides the anthropomorphic information to the control system, the control system directing the position of at least one of the seat and handlebars based at least in part on the anthropomorphic information.
