The invention relates to methods and instruments for determining the sensitivity of different micro-organisms to various compounds. More specifically, the invention relates to the determination of the sensitivity of multiresistant pathogenic microorganisms to antibiotics. The invention also relates to the use of a component that can be ionically crossed-over, for the production of microspheres by means of microencapsulation techniques. The invention further relates to a methodology for the analysis of the microbial proliferation inside said capsules and to the interpretation of same.
