The device has housing (1) having a preheating stage (2), a final heating stage (3) and a purification chamber (4) in which chamber housing (5) is integrated. A basket (6) is accommodated within chamber housing for receiving the to-be-cleaned items. A distribution lever (7) is arranged in the chamber housing for distribution of disinfectants. The final heating stage is covered with a fan unit (8), a drive (9) for the fan unit and a heating element (10). The fan unit is provided with an air turbine (11) whose airflow is directly brought into the chamber housing.
