The invention relates to improvements in road side protective structures of the type comprising an upper rail (1) attached on support posts (3) and a lower screen (4) closing the gap to the ground, the lower screen (4) being attached on the upper rail (1) by means of arms (5) comprising a rigid profile section (6) attached at one end directly on the upper rail (1), whereas the other end is attached on the lower screen (4) by means of a J-shaped part (7); where parts (10) made of bent sheet are arranged between the lower screen (4) and the support posts (3).
