<p>The band (1) has a carrier band (2) with two longitudinal edges (3, 4), and detention masses (6) attached to the longitudinal edges in an associated manner. The detention masses are covered by covering stripes (7, 8), which are removable for usage. The detention masses are in a form of adhesive strips and/or in the form of a butyl mass. The longitudinal edge (4) is formed by folding of the carrier band, where the folding of the carrier band is detachably held by the detention masses. The carrier band is formed as double-layer and an external layer is formed by a plastic foil. An independent claim is also included for a component i.e. window profile, comprising a sealing band.</p> |
